 Professional Surveyors Education Foundation, Inc. (PSEFI) is a non-profit Texas 501(c)3 corporation. It was founded by a group of surveyors to fill the need for an organization that could contract with other organizations to create and maintain education venues for surveying education.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas its first priority is providing funding of programs that benefit
surveying students in the Greater Houston Area. As surveyors in other areas express interest, the foundation will expand its list of projects to accommodate the growing interest.
PSEFI’S first priority is providing college degree programs in surveying. The goal is to create and support programs that provide courses that lead to or support Bachelor of Science degrees containing 32 semester hours of surveying or surveying related material. PSEFI also provides seminars and technician training as fund raising activates.
Our first endeavor has lead to the creation of a Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying Technology at the University of Houston Main Campus. This venue has benefited from the contributions of Houston area surveyors, suppliers and clients. The administration of the University of Houston has been very supportive. |
